How can you claim your profits?
Or when to ask for money? - It doesn't matter
As you may have read in the previous blog articles, it's worth claiming your winnings after the bookmaker has limited your account (I won't go into the details of limiting your winnings, if you look back at the blog articles you can read a lot about it + there are videos up there) So if you only charge money after it is limited, you can use that office for much longer(so-called "soft" bookmakers, such as TippmixPRO). This is because you will be in the bookmaker's sights later and you will be limited to 1.5 million HUF winnings or 300 000 ft winnings.
What to look out for when using TippmixPRO?
- Only deposit from a bank account that is authorised by the MNB (for example, neither Revolut nor Wise is authorised by the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, so although the site allows this type of deposit, you must check the box when you deposit to indicate that the bank account you are depositing from is authorised by the MNB.)
- You can also only request a withdrawal to a bank account that is authorised by the MNB (OTP, Raiffeisen, Erste, etc., they all have it).
- Pay only from an account that is in your name! Although the system will let you do this, for example if you top up with a credit card, don't do it, as this could cause problems later on when you pay out. You will also only be able to pay from an account that you own!
- The TippmixPRO has been quasi-nationalised, so you may (and I stress "may" because you don't always have to) be asked for proof of income, which you must prove that the money you earned is rightfully yours.
- You may be asked for a bank statement, or a document setting up a bank account, although you may be happy with a bank statement.
- They may request a bank account history showing the movements of funds, obviously this is also to filter out bettors who set up "ghost" accounts and actually bet under a different name.
- Obviously, but they may also ask for your ID and address card, so you'll need to take a photo and send it in - although this is usually required after registration.
A bit "overcomplicated", isn't it?
Look, I understand them in a way. By upgrading their betting software late last year and having a much larger offering + betting options, it's inevitable that conscious bettors like me (and I hope you) are already using the site. So it's understandable that they want to make it harder for value bettors, as we are net payers, a threat to their profits.
My personal opinion, however, is that they are a bit "overdone", so in my 8 years I have never encountered this level of administrative requirement, even though I have used almost every office. (which welcome Hungarians) All the offices asked for my ID + address card, and I even had to take a photo of my bank statement, but no one asked for proof of income or anything like that. Obviously I have nothing to hide, I'm happy to send it to them, but it's still strange, absolutely unusual. However, the site is great now, so we are winners, if I put the pros and cons of the renewed TippmixPRO on the same scale, there will be more pros than cons!
Otherwise, they are extremely fast, very nice at customer service, we have no complaints! If you have done everything right, you will receive a letter like this and within 1-8 working days you will have the requested amount of money in your account.
