General rules, concepts

Personal data: Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (data subject). An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

Data Controller: the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or any other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. Where the purposes and means of the processing are determined by Union or Member State law, the controller or the specific criteria for the designation of the controller may also be determined by Union or Member State law.

Data processor: the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or any other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller.

Limitations of the data processor:

  • may not take any substantive decision regarding the processing,
  • process the personal data that come to its knowledge only in accordance with the controller's instructions,
  • not process data for its own purposes, and
  • must store the personal data in accordance with the provisions of the controller.

Data management: any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure, transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.

Scope of processing of personal data

We will only collect and use your personal information as necessary for the operation of the website and the provision of our content and services, for example, when you register on our website, log in to your existing customer account or order products. We will only collect and use your personal data in accordance with the legal bases and principles set out in the GDPR Regulation.

The security of your personal data is of paramount importance to us. Therefore, we have put in place specific technical and organisational measures to protect the data we process in order to prevent its loss or misuse by third parties.

Our employees who carry out data management tasks are bound by confidentiality rules. The security of your personal data is also guaranteed by the fact that it is transmitted in encrypted form; for example, we use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to communicate with your browser. A padlock symbol will appear in your browser to let you know when the SSL connection is established. So FBO uses HTTPS, which adds two important pillars to your security:

  • the secure connection between the server(s) of www.fektessbeokosan.hu and the user's computer or browser guarantees that the password entered during the login process and the personal data provided during the ordering process cannot be accessed by third parties in the communication
  • due to browser security settings, if any element of the www.fektessbeokosan.hu website (images, scripts, external scripts) is not loaded over a secure connection, it will not be loaded by default (but this can be overridden by the user!)

To ensure that your data is always protected, we regularly review our technical security measures and modify them where necessary to meet new technological requirements. These principles also apply to the companies that process and use data on our behalf and under our instructions.

Time of storage of personal data and erasure practices

We process and store personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which it is processed or for as long as we are required to do so by law or other regulation. Once the purpose ceases or is fulfilled, we will delete your personal data or restrict access to it. Restricted access means that the data will be deleted as soon as the expiry of the retention periods set out in law, statutes or contracts permits, unless there is otherwise a reason to believe that deletion would undermine your legitimate interests and provided that deletion does not require a disproportionate effort of resources due to the specific circumstances of storage.

The following describes the specific processes in which your personal data is processed. This will include an explanation of the legal basis, purpose and duration of the processing of personal data.

1) Logging the www.fektessbeokosan.hu server (log files)

When you visit the www.fektessbeokosan.hu website, the web server automatically logs the user's activity, i.e. during each visit to our website, certain data is automatically collected for technical reasons.

Purpose of the processing: running the website. This data is used to ensure the functionality of the website and to present the content of our website in an appropriate manner. We also use this data to optimise our website and to ensure the security of our IT systems. As a general rule, we will only use this technical data to the extent necessary for the purposes described above and, in addition, in the event of a hacker attack, to help identify the source of the attack and even to help clarify a police report.

Legal basis for processing: the controller has a legitimate interest in ensuring that its website functions properly and in a user-friendly manner. [Article 6(1)(f) GDPR].

Type of personal data processed: access to the website (date, time and frequency), how you arrived at the website (sending page, hyperlink, etc.), the amount of data sent, the browser settings and version number you use, the operating system you use, your Internet Service Provider, the IP address assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider when you connected to the Internet, your interests, demographic data, location data, identifiers, etc. You can find out more about the data collected by Google here: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=hu

 An IP address is a series of numbers assigned to your computer by your internet service provider to connect to the internet, which can be used to uniquely identify the computers and mobile devices of users accessing the internet. IP addresses can even be used to geolocate the visitor using a particular computer. The address of the pages visited, as well as the date and time of the visit, are not in themselves suitable for identifying the data subject, but when combined with other data (e.g. data provided during registration) they can be used to draw conclusions about the user.

The quickest, easiest and most convenient way to exercise your right to rectify and delete data is to log in to your account and directly edit or delete the data stored there. We will only restrict access to, but not delete, data if we are required by law or contractual obligations to retain the data in order to prevent its use for other purposes.

12. Data security

The security of your personal data is of the utmost importance to us. We therefore take technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold about you to effectively prevent its loss or manipulation by third parties. Our employees who process personal data are bound by data confidentiality and are obliged to respect it. To protect your personal data, we transmit this data in encrypted form. To ensure the long-term protection of your data, our technical security measures are regularly reviewed and, where necessary, adapted to the technological standard in force at the place where they are used. These principles also apply to companies that process and use data through our orders and instructions.

The FBO and its data processors shall implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of data security appropriate to the level of risk, taking into account the state of the art and the cost of implementation, the nature, scope, context and purposes of the processing, and the varying degrees of probability and severity of the risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons.

The FBO selects and operates the IT tools used to process personal data in the provision of the service in such a way that the data processed:

  1. a) accessible to authorised persons (availability);
    b) its authenticity and authenticity is assured (authenticity of processing);
    c) its immutability can be verified (data integrity);
    d) be protected against unauthorised access (data confidentiality).

The FBO shall take appropriate measures to protect the data against, in particular, unauthorised access, alteration, transmission, disclosure, deletion or destruction, accidental destruction, damage or loss, and inaccessibility due to changes in the technology used.

In order to protect the data files managed electronically in its various registers, the FBO shall ensure, by means of appropriate technical solutions, that the data stored cannot be directly linked and attributed to the data subject, except where permitted by law. The FBO shall ensure the security of data management by means of technical, organisational and organisational measures that provide a level of protection appropriate to the risks associated with data management, taking into account the state of the art.

The FBO will retain during the processing

a) confidentiality: it protects the information so that only those who are entitled to it have access to it;
b) integrity: it protects the accuracy and completeness of the information and the method of processing;
c) availability: ensuring that the rightful user has effective access to the information he needs and the means to access it when he needs it.

The FBO and its data partners' IT systems and networks are protected against computer fraud, espionage, sabotage, vandalism, fire and flood, computer viruses, computer intrusions and denial of service attacks. The operator ensures security through server-level and application-level protection procedures.

Users are informed that electronic messages transmitted over the Internet, regardless of the protocol (email, web, ftp, etc.), are vulnerable to network threats that could lead to fraudulent activity, contract disputes, or the disclosure or modification of information. The controller will take all reasonable precautions to protect against such threats. It monitors systems in order to record and provide evidence of any security incidents. System monitoring also allows the effectiveness of the precautions taken to be checked.

The FBO as data controller keeps a record of any data breaches, indicating the facts relating to the data breach, its effects and the measures taken to remedy it.
