(ALONG WITH THIS POST, I ALSO HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VIDEO! BELIEVE ME, IT'S WORTH WATCHING)

Zsolt Lázár

Value receiver.

This is a relatively long blog post, but you can take my word for it that it contains information that I'm sure you haven't read elsewhere. If you have financial expectations for your bets, you should definitely read it!

Also, don't forget the two most important topicalities, make sure you take advantage of them:

  • Every new subscriber will receive a Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Active smartwatch with their purchase!
  • Existing customers are also eligible for the smartwatch (if they have purchased at list price or bundled offer without any other discount) , they will be eligible when they renew their subscription.
  • In addition, for those who follow our Warren investor package from at least 1 August, we will extend their subscription until we make a profit. So they will have enough to extend their group after we've worked off the loss and turned a profit.

Our investor, value investor packages

What makes us credible and interesting to you?

There is much more to betting on value than meets the eye!

Whatever the financial topic, credibility and trust must come first. Whether you look at the name of our business or the content of the website, you can see that we are not aiming to appeal to the masses of sports fans or betting mixers - that is one of the reasons why there are no sports pictures on the website (apart from one or two) and why we do not have the usual 'betting' talk, which I would call 'aberrant'. Obviously, my aim is to show seriousness, to convey the kind of spirit with which we have been taking our values for almost 10 years. Everything we do is so that both we and our followers can make money from our activities. I don't care about the personal life of footballer "xy", I don't care about whose sport is what, I only care about making money for our customers from what we do - and so do we, because we ourselves take all the value bets we post.

Our approach is quite new, because to the best of my knowledge and experience, I have never seen sports enthusiasm and financial awareness, and the goal of earning income, so separated, neither here nor abroad. It was also new to see myself in videos, talking unabashedly about the backstabbing of betting sites, and, having worked for betting sites myself - which at the time had one of the largest readerships/communities - it was also a way of saying that finally someone who had been "part of the system at some point" was speaking the truth. (This is only true in that I only worked for tip sites until they were incorrect with customers, started cheating, etc. Once I saw that those conditions were no longer there and there was no chance of change, I quit)

And what keeps us credible is clearly the evidence: We've broken the habit of sending subscribers what are in fact worthless, unintelligible tips via text message. They would look good in the statistics, of course, but they would mean nothing to you, dear reader, and you wouldn't make any real money. In contrast, in a unique way (and believe me, this is not a marketing ploy), we photograph our own bets in real time, proving that we ourselves are tracking the service for which we are committing to financial growth. The combination of all these has resulted in us becoming known relatively quickly, many have started / are starting to follow our groups with great hope because they see that what we stand for is different to what they are used to.

For me, Zsolt Lázár, as the owner of the business and the central figure of our personal brand, my only goal is to make a profit. I always point out that what we do is a financial investment. There is much more to it than just "guessing" and just like any investment, there are financial fundamentals to value betting. We constantly rotate our money according to bankroll management, diversifying (splitting) into different bet types, sports, placing live and pre-match value bets. It is similar to an investment fund: we "open our positions" in several directions and make profits with one type of bets and another, and in the short term, we may even make losses on "A" bets and profits on "B" bets, which are constantly changing. We don't tie up our money for long periods of time, we usually close our bets the same day, and for live value bets it's a matter of hours at most. There is some work on your part as we organise everything in the background, we send everything out to you, but you will place the bets in your own account, so you have to set up some basic conditions, such as:

  • Within a reasonable time, try to follow the value propositions posted.
  • You must be registered with the relevant sports bureaus.
  • Have a minimum (a few hundred thousand ft) of start-up capital.
  • Stick to your betting instructions and follow our advice. Believe us, we don't want you to stop making money, quite the opposite!

If we were not operating within the sports betting industry (currently to the detriment of sportsbooks and to the benefit of our clients!) , the presence of variance would not need much explanation. So if you are investing, say, in the stock market, let's say 1 000 000 HUF on the first of January and at the end of January your investment is, say, 920 000 HUF, you are unlikely to panic. There are companies behind your investment, who obviously have a market performance and maybe the numbers haven't worked out that way in the short term, but you know there is production behind it, it's a matter of time before it makes a profit for you. As unusual as this may sound, it is just as true for value betting, which is us! In my experience, people panic much more quickly with even a minimal volatility than with any other type of investment. There are several reasons for this, in my opinion:

  • On the one hand, a value bettor places his bets himself every day, so he is fully involved in the investment and can see how his capital is developing on a daily basis. Whereas with another type of investment, you look at your account from time to time, but you are not as emotionally/mentally exposed to it.
  • I can stand on my head and shout 24 hours a day, "HOSSZÚ TÁV! LONG TODAY!" and "Don't be scared of losing bets, we have a 56% hit rate, so for every 100 value bets there will be about 44 losers, which is natural" , when the "panic button" goes off and the stereotypical topos like "despite all the content and education, it's still gambling, you're out of luck etc."
  • Some days we make almost only winning value bets, while other days we are mostly losers and it is difficult to stay balanced, because if you are used to a sudden increase in your account balance over several days, it can be a "cold shower" when the balance you have already achieved decreases in the short term.

Each company has a responsible person in the chain, who is accountable for the viability of the business/service he/she manages and the results for customers. With my face all over the website, there is no question that I can be held accountable and "burdened" with the responsibility to deliver what we promise. In my nearly thirty years I have "managed" not to fool anyone and I don't intend to change that in the future. I can also be reached by phone at almost any time - I don't promise to answer immediately in every case, but I will definitely call back whoever calls. I think it is important to stress this to emphasise to everyone: no one will be left alone! Anyone who makes the human gesture of following us, who gives us confidence in a field full of very bad experiences, will be given everything we need to increase their investment. Obviously, when we are in a very successful period, it is easy for people: I get more and more enthusiastic messages, everyone is happy when we make a profit of say 30 or 18 bets in a given month (if you bet 1.5% on all our value bets, you have a capital growth of 45% in a 30 bet month, while for 18 bets you can easily calculate 27% net growth in relation to capital, which is tax free)

Yes, but there are times - as I always say - when, despite diversified betting, there are more losing bets. Think about it, when we hit a 30 bet winning streak, our hit rate was not 56%, but say 63%. With almost 10 years of experience, well over 20 000 bets placed and well over 100 000 000 Ft of money wagered, believe me when I say that I am speaking from real experience, not just belly flopping: In the long run, you can't do better than a 56% hit rate, it's a mathematical premise. I'd love to explain why now, but this post is still going to be "gigantic" long, so please forgive me for that, but I'll elaborate in another post or video. So, if we were working with a hit rate of 63% in January, let's say, it is natural that it will correct in the next period(not legitimate that it will correct in the next month). The correction is in fact the variance itself, as we may go down to 52% in that month, at which point we will end up with a losing month. This is why I always say that you have to be mentally "strong", when you are in a very profitable period, of course you should be happy about it, but remember that it will not always be like this, there will be negative periods, and when you are in a loss period, remember that you have been through roughly profitable months, it is only a matter of time before it happens again.

Let's look at the concrete statistics!

What does the "balance sheet" currently show?

We don't have a small group of millions, we currently have two services, Warren and Rockefeller, and we also have our free Capital Building Project 2.0 initiative, where we share bets from these groups free of charge. As we follow more than half of the matches live (a huge thanks to my partner László, who wrote our book 12 Iron Laws of Sports Betting with us before the pandemic hit) , it takes a lot of work to maintain both services. (just to put our operation in parallel with other "tip sites": they send you tips from such and such sources, even free ones, via text message, without caring whether you can actually bet on them or not. It's easy to put 5-10 groups out there, since the goal is not to get quality service from their customers, but to "skin them" as much as possible.)

Interpret the results and put them into context

...We must not overlook the details!

We can clearly see that both services are profitable, and these results can be replicated exactly, but it is also a fact that the last quarter has seen more fluctuations than the previous almost a year. The main reason for this is that we Hungarians have a difficult field to compete in. The most memorable event was at the end of last year, when Bet365, which had been the etalon of the Hungarian market, withdrew from the Hungarian market, but even then, many offices are not available to us Hungarians. On the one hand, our decision-makers have made gambling income tax-free, and on the other, after months of preparation, they have finally replaced the betting software of TippmixPRO. They did this because obviously the hundreds of thousands of people who were forced to leave Bet365 have obviously gravitated towards TippmixPRO, but they have to offer a better deal than what they had.

I don't think that we value bettors are better off with all this, as I would much prefer to be free to choose where I bet, just like in any other European country, and obviously choose the one that gives me the best offer / odds. But I am optimistic about what has happened and I encourage you to be too, dear reader. So there's been quite a shake-up within the domestic for-profit sports betting community, but the betting sites are so oblivious to it. I mean, punters are still sending out their picks to the same sportsbooks, even though in most cases you can't even find them in the same format (let alone at the same odds) on Tippmixpro. And see what I mean, it's easy to make huge theoretical profits without any real performance behind it. Because you're not helped by subscribing somewhere and getting, say, 100 picks that you can't actually find in those offices, which - for reasons beyond your control - you can't even use. So you may see less profit with us than with other sites, but don't be fooled by that, because our results are actually achievable whereas other sites are out to deceive you.

With our bets, the sportsbook will not limit you to a few tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of Forints!

...It does matter, let's face it.

I don't want to make you feel sorry for us or anything, but there is one thing you should keep in mind: our bets will not limit your account after a few hundred thousand ft of profit! Here again, the two cultures are diverging, i.e. do we do something professionally and want what is best for our followers in the long run, or do we just go for appearances. If you are betting with very low -,liquidity, markets, leagues and/or even with many thousands of people also following you, the sportsbooks will spot you very quickly and flatten your bets nicely after a few tens of thousands or a few hundred thousands ft profit. The 99% of betting sites share table tennis, futsal, very low league and very low market bets with their followers that have a lower volatility but can literally wipe out your account after a few tens of thousands of ft. Ask yourself this question: Which are you better off with? - If you start following sites that don't take care of the lifetime of your sports account and you can quasi say goodbye to your account at say 150 000 Ft profit, or you follow us, true, we have more frequent fluctuations, but will you be able to get your account up to say 2 million Ft? If you're looking at the short term and don't care how much money you'll be able to take out of the sportsbook, you should obviously opt for the little money that comes in quickly. If, on the other hand, you really want to take a visible amount of money out of the offices, then our model is still the only viable one.

A month and a half ago, we started betting on Brazilian leagues and noticed that one of the accounts had a limit on football (and it wasn't the smallest league, but still) and you know what we did? - We stopped following them and none of our customers got them anymore, thus protecting our followers' accounts and making our own situation more difficult:

  • We paid a lot of money for a resource.
  • We promoted, produced video and other materials, which is no small amount of work and advertising costs.
  • We have organised the logistics to have a person in the team who can follow live the bets that have not been placed pre-match by the TippmixPro, again this is a work and business expense, as you deserve a fee for doing this.

If we were living from sales and that was the priority, it would have been silly to throw away a resource. If someone from a competing site is reading this post, it might be an incomprehensible decision for them, which is why I say that we represent a completely different culture than the average. If we hadn't changed, we would have had 20 betting months (in profit) and I wouldn't have to explain why we have fluctuations, but I could talk about how good we are. - But honestly, apart from appearances, would that make any sense? By now, all our followers would probably have been flattened by the sports office and would have been prevented from earning millions of forints in profit in the long run.

In addition, of course, it must be acknowledged that we are now in one of the cruelly few periods where the majority of our sources are either in a negative streak or around break-even. But even in such a less fortunate period, you can see that we don't have to worry about losing our savings, at Warren at the time of writing we are 6 bets down, while at Rockefeller we are 5 bets down. By the way, at Warren we were close to 18 not so long ago and we got it down to 6 in a couple of weeks, so really, we could be in serious profit within weeks, it is absolutely not an unrealistic promise or a lousy one. Now, for example, in the extra short term, we have partners with whom we have had a relationship for many years and have had such joint successes in the past, for example, in breaking even or minimal losses:

So let me summarise what you should look out for, or what sites do to ensure that they have only good results in theory:

  • Tips are not accepted in the same way as they are posted.
  • You cannot be caught in an office used by Hungarians.
  • They come to such a low league/market that even after a few hundred thousand ft they would limit your bets to a few hundred forints.
  • Combine the results. ( You may have say 10 groups of which 5 are massively unprofitable, but really. However they say that in 2023 say if you had followed all the groups you would have made xy million. Yes, but it's physically impossible to make 1.5 thousand - 3 thousand bets a month as you don't have that much disposable income, and I don't think the agencies would look down on you that much either..)
  • The composition of the group is changed and the theoretical statistics from other sources are shown in the new sources BACK TO TOP! Thus, a negative period did not occur
  • Instead of their own, actual results, they take other, theoretical statistics and 100% that the same, but not even close to the same, could not be achieved by a Hungarian host (and of course it is not certain that the statistics copied from the other side are real, there is no fraud, cosmeticization)
  • They play with the stakes placed, so you might have lost your capital on your bets already, but they still send out bets at the same stakes, or even much higher, so they might turn a few winning bets into a big loss for a whole month, but that's completely unrealistic and against basic economics. (And think about it, they put a 300 line spreadsheet in front of you, you won't easily notice the 3-4 lines they used to do this huge manipulation)

What about "you", 8-10 bets a month in profit?

Or what can we expect in the future?

Except for the last quarter, our groups have performed between 8-9% in one of the most important economic indicators that exists for an investment, the "ROI", which is amazingly good, especially in the light of the above, that is, that this is really achievable in our country. ("Return on Investment" or ROI: shows what percentage of every forint we invest will be profitable) We have fallen down in this number because of the variance of the last quarter, and it is now (I write it like this because it changes from day to day, you will be reading this article and it will be a different number in our embedded tables than what I see now, at the time of writing) 5.97% for Warren and 6.64% for Rockefeller.

Screenshots:

It's fair to say that both our groups are in a worse position, but once the upturn comes - which is quite spectacular for Warren at the moment - it will be back above 8%. And since both groups have more than 100 bets, just a basic mathematical calculation will work out that we should be able to make 8-9 bets profit per month, per group. So patience is indeed an important virtue in our profession, so I definitely encourage you to keep following along, because you see, we do our job with integrity and care, not with the goal of making you feel bad.

What is it that we also lack?

...Because we are not perfect, but we are trying to be!

There is a saying that "...he sees the speck in the other man's eye and the beam in his own" which is a great folk wisdom, let's admit it. I am not satisfied with every segment of our service, the sending of bets, their tracking and basically the logistics behind it, are flawless (many thanks to my partner László Hajka, with whom I wrote the book "12 iron laws of sports betting"). We've grown much faster than I expected, which obviously makes me very happy, because we've worked a lot to get here, but we haven't kept up with the growth.

The main reason for this is that besides the FBO I am running several projects in parallel (in completely different areas from sports betting), some of them are "only" marketing, some of them are "pulling" a business from scratch to make a profit as soon as possible, which took a lot of time from me in the last month and I took them on well before the FBO was launched, so I have a duty to see them through. I tried to expand the team and recruit new staff, and the learning curve started, but the autonomy and motivation were not in line. In the meantime, I announced that we had a big announcement on 15 September, but we've been delayed with that too, there was an IT/tax challenge to solve, we finished it yesterday, so it's really a matter of days now to get the ball rolling.

For this inconvenience I would like to make a gesture to you and sincerely thank you for your patience! I promise that, just as in the past, we will continue to earn a lot of value for money in the future and in October you will once again receive the same level of service and customer care that you have been used to and loved in the past.

...This is no fairy tale!

I know, it may seem unbelievable at first that you can make money by placing (value) bets on sporting events in a planned(!) way, but it's true. It's not down to luck at all!
This is purely mathematical and can be factually deduced and calculated: if we have a hit rate of around 56% combined with an average multiplier of 1.80 - 1.90, we make a profit, while the sportsbooks lose, so we make the house lose.
It is not "black magic" and you don't even need to have a "magic ball". It is a mathematical law that we have a lot of experience in and can prove. There is consensus on our recognition and credibility within the profession, and of course we have not given any reason to the contrary.

Here is the "non plus ultra" of evidence..

Most sports bureaus have banned me, I've beaten them so badly. At the peak of my career I bet 600 Euro (you will find proof of that after registration) , so I know what I am talking about and I know what the realistic income is, so you will not find any distortions here. This is guaranteed by me, plus if you become a subscriber later, you will also be covered by the 60 day money back guarantee for proper tracking.
